Four violinists and two viola players are set to perform the Midday Concert on Friday, October 2.
The Waikato University musicians have an array of successes behind them, ranging from winning national competitions to one being associate concertmaster of the NZSO National Youth Orchestra.
Two of the students will also shortly perform as soloists with the Trust Waikato Symphony Orchestra.
For the Midday Concert Series, they will play a selection ranging from Mozart and Ravel Sonata Movements to Bruch's famous 1st concerto.
They will be joined in the performance by the University of Waikato's former Katherine Austin student and current Norah Howell accompanist, Carlee Hanna.
The concert is at St Andrew’s Anglican Church, Tītīraupenga Street, from 12noon to 1pm, entry $10, cash only (no eftpos facility).
