🚂 The Lions Express Train is proudly owned and operated by the Taupō Lions Club and is located in the beautiful Tongariro South Domain. Our miniature railway winds its way through the park and even travels through a tunnel, making it a favourite attraction for children and adults alike.

- Two laps of the track

Due to increasing operating and maintenance costs over the years, the fare has been updated to $3.00 per ride. We appreciate your support, which helps us keep the train running for our community to enjoy.

- Every weekend from 10:00am - 2.50pm and on Public Holidays and School Holidays

🌳 A Great Family Day Out
Bring the family along and enjoy a ride on the Lions Express Train. Whether it's your child's first train ride or you're simply young at heart, everyone is welcome to experience the fun.
During Winter Fest the train will be running from 4pm-8pm at night.
Our train offers fantastic value, friendly volunteers, and a memorable ride through one of Taupō's favourite parks.
