Resealing work on sections of Wairakei Drive will begin next week, between Huka Falls Road (Taupō end) and Wairakei Thermal Valley Road.
Work Schedule
Monday 23 March
- Stop/go traffic management will be in place near the BP at times during the morning (after 8:30am).
Tuesday 24 March – Wednesday 25 March
- A detour will be in place via Huka Falls Road.
- Hours: 7:00am – 7:00pm both days.
Traffic Advice
Motorists are encouraged to use the East Taupō Arterial as an alternative route during these works.
Access
Access to all businesses in the area will be maintained at all times.
