It’s time to support whānau in the Tūrangi community by donating kai (food) to those who need awhi (support) from the Tūrangi Foodbank. Across the motu (country), foodbanks are seeing a huge increase in demand, and now’s our chance to make a difference. Please give generously to this important cause!
When:
Monday 25th November 2024
- 5:00 PM Assemble in the car park opposite the Tūrangi Police Station
- 5:15 PM Safety Briefing
- 5:30 PM Fire Siren sounds to signal the start of the Foodbank Drive
What We Need:
- Lots of Food! 🍽️ Non-perishable items, canned goods, and pantry staples are especially helpful.
- Volunteers! Be a runner or walker to collect donations 🏃♂️.
- Vehicles with Trailers! Help transport the donated items 🛻.
