The entire Supercars Championship fleet has arrived at Taupō International Motorsport Park ahead of next weekend's ITM Taupō Super 440, following a complex sea freight operation from Australia.
The 24 race cars and supporting equipment, valued at approximately $40 million, were transported in 21 containers carrying 240 tonnes of equipment. Teams faced significant logistical challenges with a tight turnaround following the Melbourne Grand Prix.
"We're always proud to race in New Zealand, and it's been a big undertaking to get the cars to Taupō," said Supercars Logistics Manager Jason Routley. "We must say well done to the teams for turning around their cars and equipment quickly after the Grand Prix to prepare for the journey."

Two-car teams had to carefully pack all essential equipment into a single 40-foot container, including both race cars, spare engines, transaxles, and wheels. Following Sunday's Grand Prix, teams couldn't begin packing until late Sunday night, with all equipment needing to meet New Zealand's strict biosecurity regulations.
Routley praised logistics partner Sealab, which has partnered with the championship for the next two years, along with logistics coordinators Adam Frank and Simonne Taylor for their work in making the operation possible.
The ITM Taupō Super 440 begins with practice on Friday, April 11, with tickets currently available through Supercars.com.
