Taupō Hospice Shop is getting into the spirit of both Matariki and a mid-winter Christmas.
Two free Matariki crafting workshops will run Monday to Thursday this week and next (July 6-9 and July 13-16) and involve decorating either a star shape or a waka.
The school holiday fun workshops run from 10am to 3pm.
Retail operations manager Georgie Day says the shop will also have its festive stock out during the school holidays – for those who fancy a midwinter Christmas and the remaining items from the Taupō Collectibles Event in store available for purchase on Thursday, July 9.
