Police are investigating several possible sightings of missing man Travis Langford, who has not been seen since January 17th.
Travis, who travelled from Wellington to the Waikato region, disappeared shortly after his car was discovered burnt out at a farm on Tolley Road in Ngaroma on January 18th.
Police have expressed significant concerns for Travis's welfare and have stressed that this missing person case does not involve a criminal element.
The new sightings reported today were of a man matching Travis's description wearing a poncho at multiple locations: on State Highway 30 approximately 20-25 kilometres south of Te Kuiti, at the Kopaki rail overbridge, near Powell Road, and near Mangaokewa Road where he appeared to be hitchhiking.

Based on these sightings, investigators believe the man was heading north and may have been picked up by a passing motorist.
Police are particularly interested in speaking with anyone who was travelling on State Highway 30 between 9:30am and 12pm who may have seen this man, anyone who picked up a hitchhiker matching Travis's description, or anyone with relevant dashcam footage from the area.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Police via 105 and quote file number 250119/4439.
