What are Community Notices?
These are short messages read on-air by our announcers to let listeners know about upcoming events, community groups, and services available to the public.
Community Notices are also published on our website.
Is there a cost involved?
No, Community Notices are a free service provided by Lake FM.
We also offer discounted advertising packages for non-profits, community groups, and charities who need more consistent exposure.
What happens to the information provided here?
We’ll take the information you send us and use it as the basis for a 30–45 second notice.
If your message is too detailed for that format, we can arrange an interview so you can phone in and share more with our audience.
Important note
Community Notices are not a substitute for advertising.
We can’t guarantee how often a notice will be mentioned, but typically they are read out by our announcers during our local shows, Monday to Friday, 6am – 10pm.
